Let Your Creativity Flow: A Yoga & Writing/Journaling Workshop
“Writing is a solo act. Yoga provides community. Yoga reveals insights. Writing records. Yoga taps the unconscious mind. Writing transcribes.”
- Stephanie Renee Dos Santos Whether you’ve always dreamed of writing the next Great American Novel, or simply wish you could write with a little more ease – if you are trying to get through your latest writer’s block or just want to learn how to pick up the pen in the first place – yoga can be exactly what you need to take that next step. Yoga is a source of empowerment. It is a reminder to be authentic and to go with the flow. Yoga provides us an opportunity to look within and overcome doubt. Through this workshop, we’ll explore what it means to be a writer, including the four key factors that make up any type of writing – and how yoga can help with each and every single one of them. We’ll move, we’ll write, and we’ll gain a little more insight into ourselves. We’ll recognize that we all have the power to be great, effective writers, and that our yoga practice can help us get there. On top of being an ERYT-200, Abby Rosmarin is the author of several books, including Chick Lit & Other Formulas for Life, I'm Just Here for the Free Scrutiny, and No One Reads Poetry. |
