Yoga for Runners
For every runner, from the casual jogger to the marathoner, running can be an invigorating – and challenging – exercise. Effective practices and injury prevention techniques become key in order to keep it something we can do for years to come.
From gaining flexibility to cultivating core strength; from finding balance to improving breathing and body awareness, yoga can serve as a wonderful complement to running. Come join Abby Rosmarin, ERYT-500, CPT, and long-time runner, as we learn how to utilize yoga for running. We’ll discuss how to improve our speed/distance, how to potentially prevent injury, and when the best time is as a runner to do yoga. We’ll break down what is needed to be better runners and cap off the workshop with a yoga class that any runner can use!
